It has a plug like it could have an adapter to plug into the ...
Works well. Its not really a lava lamp so it doesn't get hot. It has a plug like it could have an adapter to plug into the wall but it didn't come with one. It takes batteries that run a fan that blows up plastic beads through a small plastic volcano in the middle. The kids like it and I don't have to worry about them touching it and burning themselves. Still, if it had come with plug0in for the wall I'd be a bit happier.
Complete waste of money
The first one we received only had half the water and the packaging was soaking wet, so we requested a replacement. The replacement was covered in moisture, and it appeared to be defrosting (it was a Christmas gift so we assumed it was frozen in transit). However, once it was thawed, it appeared normal and was functional, although it was never very impressive. It quickly used up batteries so we put in rechargeable batteries. Fast forward four months later: nearly half the water is gone, and we believe it's because it was slowly leaking into the battery compartment where it completely ruined 3 expensive rechargeable batteries, and the lava lamp no longer works. Please save yourself money and frustration and choose a different product!
Very cool
This was very cool. It lights up as well as bubbles like a volcano. It does actually look like the picture! Also what I love is the quiet sound that it makes! There is this little" tink tink " sound from the beads tapping the bottom as they fall over and over I put it next to my sons bed as a night light . It's cool that it also provides a constant quiet sound as well.
WORKS GREAT, VERY CUTE - LOVE VOLCANO EFECT
I LIKE IT VERY MUCH, BUT WOULD LOVE THAT IT WILL BRING THE ADAPTER INSTEAD OF AA BATERRIES.I JUST PURCHASED ONE ADAPTER SO I CAN PUT IT AS LONG AS I CAN. EXCELENT BUY
