What a great lamp!!

My teen loves her new lava lamp! At first I was a bit concerned because it didn't seem to be working correctly but thanks to the many reviews here we realized that we just had to give it time. We made sure it was set up correctly. The first day it took 8 hours to warm up and it didn't really work right. You can see in the pictures that it was just making one long blob instead of the smaller ones like it normally would. Day 2 it took 6 hours to warm up and was making the smaller blobs. By day 3 it warmed up within 2 hours of being plugged in and was working like a charm. Just give it time and you wont be disappointed! Its very mezmorizing!

7 Months in and We're Still Happy

We've had this for 7 months now and it still looks and works great. We use it almost every night, all throughout the night. Its colors are nice and its size makes it more substantial looking than your average one. We're happy with it.The cap on top sits a little differently than the average sized ones, which seem to fit more snug. This cap will move slightly when you touch it, but it's not a big deal. I could only see it being a problem for someone placing the lamp on a surface that also had speakers on it. It might rattle with vibrations.
