In use
Set the Trippy Shrooms on a flat surface out of direct sunlight, in a room of 68 to 75°F, and switch it on. The wax flows after 2 to 3 hours. Switch the lamp off after 10 hours at most and give it 2 to 3 hours to cool before you move it.

- Small children and pets cannot reach the lamp while it is on: the globe gets hot

Pretty lamp that works well
The lamp was initially cloudy so I let it run for the recommended number of hours and then I turned it off and let it cool down for a weekend. I just turned it on again and everything looks much more clear and as it should. I like the base being aluminum because the plastic bases can melt if you use the wrong type of bulb.
Love the base/dislike the globe
The paint job on the glass was pretty bad! It was splotchy and made it look cloudy even though it wasn't. I just switched globes and will keep the one it came with for a project globe I guess. Give the base design 5 stars though.
